WHAT WAS THE SAATH X SEWA BUNNINGS BBQ?

Saath Youth partnered with Sewa International Australia to run a Bunnings Barbeque at Crossroads Bunnings on Sunday 31st of May. We raised more than $1100 for the COVID crisis in India. With the help of 21 volunteers we cooked for seven and half hours straight. We sold over 600 sausages to over 400 people. Thank you to all those who made this possible!
Where WERE the funds donated?

As India’s battle with the pandemic hit record breaking levels with severe shortages in oxygen supplies and bed availabilities in hospitals, the barbeque was a small gesture of support to all those navigating troubled times in India. ALL proceeds from the barbeque were used to support Sewa International Australia’s COVID appeal which aims to assist 1 million COVID affected families in India.
